The powerful full Moon lunar eclipse will peak on 5th May at 17:33 GMT on the 14˚57' intense, emotional Scorpio. This lunar eclipse marks a time of inner completion of whatever began with the New Moon in Scorpio in November, last year.
A lunar eclipse is a powerful full moon magnified and extended over a longer period than a regular full moon would be. It is time of completion, of letting go. This is the last of the eclipse in the Scorpio and Taurus eclipse chain as the lunar nodes are changing signs and leaving the fix axis behind. Due to that, we feel as though we are wrapping things up for great new beginnings to take place a little later down the line.
Full moons are often outer experiences that mirror the inner world, but since this is an eclipse the event could be challenging as it might feel destined or fated in some sort of way. Eclipses can bring upheavals and chaotic times around, as we are in less control and more in the hands of destiny.
The main element of this lunation is Mars in Cancer the ruler of the eclipse forming a grand water trine with Neptune and Moon 🌙 which does bring a harmonious emotional element to this otherwise crisis like feeling. Neptune adds a lot of gentleness to way how things may unfold, there could be compassionate feelings, or acts of kindness involved.
Retrograde Mercury with the sun ☀️ can show us that we might be about to revisit an issue from the past that needs to be reset, or released in some shape or form as it is really not serving anymore. Uranus as always brings a shock element to the already surprising unfolding of events, since there could be changes coming that we may not be ready for.
With the south node eclipse we need to release something that feels very familiar and comfortable, or something from the past or even our past karma and in Scorpio this could be related to toxins or toxic people, shared investments, stocks, an alimony, debts, inheritance. But could talk about a trauma equally that used to belong to us and now we are ready to let it go. What ever may go it will be gone peacefully in harmony, with a very deep understanding that healing will come from it. We will know instinctively how to act, what to do to help you or anyone in need, beyond words.
