Astrology astounds me as always.
I was going to skip on the blog this time, being busy with many things in my life but when I heard the news, I felt an instant urge to hit the keyboard again.
The New Moon in Cancer on the 29th of June with demonic black Moon Lilith coincides with Ghislane Maxwell, socialite and sex offender sentencing to prison for 20 years.
New Moon - new paths in life for some....
Only two days ago the Us Supreme Court has announced that it will overturn the decision of Roa v Wade taking back life of Americans to 150 years prior, violating the autonomy and human rights of million across the States.
These are of course not coincidences and the themes are strongly connected to Lilith and what she represents in astrology.
I'm in awe once again with this divine language of the universe. We are all just scratching a surface of understanding this great intelligence. Lilith in Greek mythology was said to be Larnia, the Queen of Libya. Lilith or Larnia if you like, had a long standing affair with the king of Gods, Zeus. When Hera his wife found out about it she was enraged and mortified and her revenge was to kill all of Lilith's children except one.
Hence Lilith in astrology also embodies a person’s primitive side, and beastly behaviour. This point shows our repressed sexuality, biggest fear and dark side of our personality and often active with stillbirth or loss of a child.

Ghislane's chart ruler is Mercury in the 8th, the house of secrets and sexuality. Mercury is ruling not only her chart but Black Moon Lilith too. Lilith is in Virgo the sign of the virgin that is stuck in the middle of a destructive conjunction between Uranus and Pluto, the ruler of underworld. Mercury therefore carries the energies of her Lilith to not only to the 8th house but to her Capricorn Sun too since it conjuncts the luminary. This natal Mercury and Sun conjunction along with Saturn the lord of time and karma in the dark 8th house of taboos and transformation opposes this New Moon in Cancer with Lilith.
Today, Ghislane Maxwel was sentenced for enticing underage girls (Virgo) then orchestrated them to please Jeffrey Epstein's sick urges, who abused and raped them in his home.
Well, this new moon has definitely brought dark, new paths in her life for the next 20 years to come.
As for the Supreme court's controversial decision on female autonomy and the right for abortion. America's astrology chart is full of Cancer energies. (see chart) in fact the Sun in Cancer is in close conjunction with this New Moon in Cancer on the 7th degree.
