Without even looking at the chart, full moon in Aries already suggests that emotions will be running high, passion won’t be missing and this lunar qualities are initiation and impatience amongst many.
Full moons are well known for their dramatic times, chaos and truths revealing tendencies. When the moon is full in Aries, the cardinal fire sign only adds to the hotness of this lunation.
However, when I opened the chart of this particular full moon and I saw that both Mars and Pluto are actively involved in this lunation, I scarcely realised, that this is not going to be an easy ride.
Full moon is the brightest of lunation we can have. Everyone has an experience of a glowing night when the moon is illuminating the darkness. Ancient American tribes believed that a wolf sang the moon into existence. These nocturnal animals have a natural association with darkness and the moon in many ancestral stories and that gives a mystic, somewhat eerie element to these moonlit nights.
This Aries full moon is going to occur on the night of the 20th of October and yes, it’ll serve its name, Hunter full moon well. Let us unpick to at least be prepared of what might come our way.
The strongest aspect to the full moon is the Pluto square and that creates a so-called T-square which is well known in astrology for stimulating drive and courage by itself. The courageous and active aspect is further emphasised by the fiery, initiating sign of Aries that is notorious for being impatient and daring. And if all these mentioned wasn’t enough, there is more. Mars is also part of the T square since it is conjunct the Sun in Libra. Wow, I mean wow….No, you don’t understand W.O.W.
Mars the planet of war and fights conjuncts Sun which is actually blinding Mars’ actions. Just think about being so close to the sun. It is blinding and makes Mars invisible with its heat and brightness. That might not play out well since there is a possibility for fighting blindly for something. Pluto with the T square will make this even more intense and can include power games, physical violence and all sorts of destructions since Pluto loves to eradicate, thus creates a total transformation. And of course, let’s not forget the highly charged emotions anyway during a full Moon. Yep, peace will NOT be the quality of this full moon.
Jupiter also aspects this feisty configuration of celestial war. I’m not even sure if that is going to help at all. Let’s hope it does with the wedge aspect, known for easing up tensions, with a sense of hope and optimism. Whether or not that is going to be enough it is really up to the personal charts. Something intense and destructive is going to happen that’ll drive you for action. You will be part of a game of intense desire for power. You need to be very cautious with your actions, since there is a tendency that you fight blindly for something that will be illuminated for you and triggers your drive and passion.
Jupiter and Mercury just turned direct, they can both help. Mercury receives good aspects from Venus and Saturn in in diplomatic Libra there is a chance to resolve things with strategic and conciliatory words. Jupiter eases up things with divine wisdom and higher knowledge. encouraging to look beyond ourselves. Each and every one of us is a small part of a great community, and we all have an important role to play.
Use kind words and look for negotiations. Be cautious with your actions, listen to your higher mind and reign your emotions, your drive.
